The Protestant Bible has 66 books, whereas in the Roman Catholic Bible has 73 books.  The Protestant Bible has 39 Old Testament books, in the Roman Catholic Bible there are an additional 7 books, which means there are 46 books in the Roman Catholic Old Testament.  All these 73 books in the Roman Catholic Bible were accepted by the Council of Rome in the late fourth century AD.
